The “200 Club” in the village is designed to help with essential maintenance and improvement of our Village Hall. As you may be aware Stage 1 of the refurbishment is now completed and the ‘Official Opening’ took place at the coffee morning on Saturday 3 February 2007. However further expenditure is required in order to maintain our Village Hall facilities at the level required.
We quickly achieved our 200 target for 2007. There are still a very few tickets available for 2008. Click here for information
We hope that every household in the village will be happy to support this (Burton has around 200 households). You can buy more than one ticket per household if you wish and you can sell tickets to your friends and family to help achieve our target of 200 tickets sold. The cost is just £2 per month. Half of the ticket proceeds are given back as prizes.
Monthly draws will be made at the first available event following the end of each month.
We believe this to be a very worthwhile proposal for the village and one we hope you'll be
happy to support.
Application forms are available from Alan Young
