Walk
from the Blue Ball, Braunstone
7th November 2004
Weather was a bit miserable with a
heavy drizzle to start with. By the time we had reached the first
half-mile it had stopped, and from then on the only problems were the
warm, the mud, and to some extent the slops upwards (seemed to be many
more ups than downs).
However it was excellent, with some
marvellous countryside and super
views, although they were a little bit hidden by the mist.
They were 12 walkers, joined by a
further 6 for an enjoyable lunch at the Blue
Ball. (Well recommended!)
