All councillors in
agreement. All forms accepting office previously signed by Cllr.
Whitehouse as she would be away on holiday at the time of the meeting.
MINUTES OF THE LAST
MEETING ON 11TH MAY 2006 were approved and signed by
the chairman.
PARISHIONER REQUEST
Parishioner Mr Simon Rann
suggested that a bench would be a good idea in Burton Lazars, possibly
situated at Cross Lane/Hollow Lane. Burton Lazars councillors seeking
input from other parishioners.
MATTERS ARISING FROM THE
MINUTES
- Rural Housing Enabler Richard Windley
replied to by clerk. Thanks to Borough Councillor Rex Holt for his
input.
- Hartopp Court Development Regarding
light outside Gladys Dinnacombes window. We have received a reply that
Bovis are fitting a black glass to the back of this lamp to prevent
light from shining into window.
- Floodlights Asfordby Storage and
Haulage. Cllr. Bridges to pursue this matter.
- Parish Plan Great Dalby The village
would be able to draw down funds for production of Parish Plan if met
by £100 from Parish Council. These funds would then be held for the
Parish Plan Group. It should be noted that the Councillors agree to the
production of the Parish Plan in principle only and to the holding of
the monies. Cllr. Johnson proposed support of a Parish Plan, to hold
the funding from the RCC and to match it with £100 from the Parish
Council. This was seconded by Cllr. Morris. Cllrs. Digby and Bridges
abstained, all others were in agreement. The Chairman has already taken
initiative and agreed to Great Dalby going ahead with a Parish Plan.
Burton Lazars does not wish to proceed with one at this time.

Cllr Ludwig
- On Cross Lane, B/L the bend sign is
outside No 43, whereas it should be placed outside Nos 39/41.
- Black bins DEFRA stated that any
putrifiable substance must be taken away.
